1. When the EMBA starts every year? When to apply and how?

There are Jinan 200 EMBA enrollees of Jinan University every year. EMBA normally starts at spring, summer and autumn. There are three ways to apply: first, request a formal application form at the EMBA office, room 203 of Huiquan Building of Mangement School of Jinan University; second, leave you address by email or telephone, we send the formal application form by mail, then send back to us after filling it; third, download the application form from our website and send back to us after filling it. our address: EMBA office, room 203 , EMBA education center, second floor of Huiquan Building of Administrative College , Jinan University.

通俗地講, 就是國家教育部承認的本科或大專學歷。國家承認的畢業(yè)文憑包括經(jīng)國家主管教育部門批準具有舉辦學歷教育資格的普通高等學校、成人高等學校所頒發(fā)的學歷證書;通過高等教育自學考試和高等教育學歷文憑考試獲得的證書等。報名時請?zhí)峁﹪覚?quán)威部門出具的學歷學位認證報告。

3. What is undergraduate or associate degree of national education? Which graduate certificates are within the national education?

Normally, they are those acknowledged by Ministry of Education, which includes certificates issued by general universities or adult institutions that qualified for setting up academic credentials education approved by education department supervised by national government; certificates acquired through passing self-taught and national certificate and degree examinations and in higher education.

4. 有大專學歷證書和研究生畢業(yè)證書(即有研究生學歷)而沒有碩士學位可以報名嗎?

可以。畢業(yè)時由于英語或研究生主干課成績不合格而未取得碩士學位, 但入學時是通過國家教育部的研究生入學考試并最終取得研究生畢業(yè)證書的, 就可以報考。

4. Are those who have associate diploma or postgraduates with postgraduate diploma without academic degree certificates also qualified to apply?

Yes. Those passing the postgraduate entrance examination held by Ministry of Education and obtained the postgraduate diploma but fail to get the academic degree owing to failure in English or main postgraduate subjects could apply for EMBA of Jinan University.

5. 在境外獲得的學位或?qū)W歷可以報考嗎?

EMBA面向港、澳、臺地區(qū)以及海外招生。在境外(包括港、澳、臺地區(qū))獲得學位或?qū)W歷的考生,需要到教育部中國留學服務中心進行學位或?qū)W歷認證, 認證通過后方可報考;未獲得學位的考生,也可與教育部中國留學服務中心聯(lián)系, 看是否能夠通過相當于中國承認的大專學歷的認證, 若通過認證, 同樣可以報考。

5. Can those with overseas academic degree certificates or diplomas apply?

Our EMBA recruitment opens to applicants from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao and from other courtiers. Applicants who acquired certificate of academic degree or diploma from overseas should go to Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange of Ministry of Education for authentication of diploma or academic degree certificate. Those failed to get academic degree certificate could also contact with Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange of Ministry of Education to see if they can pass an authentication equivalent to that of associate diploma that admitted by Ministry of Education of China. If so, they can also apply it.

6. 兩封推薦信是必須的嗎?我自已是公司最高領導, 沒有直接上司, 如何寫第一封推薦信?

兩封推薦信是必須的。如果自己是公司最高領導, 可以請本公司的一位副職領導來寫第一封推薦信,主要是為了從公司其他人員的角度來對申請人作進一步的了解。也可以另請一位權(quán)威人士(權(quán)威人士要求充分了解報考人的個人情況、學術成就和工作業(yè)績等, 并且在行業(yè)當中有一定的影響力)再寫一封推薦信。

6. Are the two recommendation letters a must? I am the highest leader of the company and have no direct superior. How do I write the first recommendation letter?

The two recommendation letters are a must. Considering you are the highest leader in the company, you could ask a deputy leader in your company to write the first letter for you. This aims to know further about the applicant from the point of other personnel in the company. You can also ask an authority to write you another recommendation letter for you. The authority should know full well about the applicant including academic achievement and working accomplishment and so on. Moreover, he/she should have important influence in his/her field.

7. EMBA對英語有要求嗎?

不作特殊要求。外教上課將配現(xiàn)場翻譯。

9. What form is the EMBA enrolling exam?

The admission method and enrolling exam of EMBA set up and held by relevant trial colleges. The admission criteria are mainly by career accomplishment, ability test and interviews. EMBA admission adopts the form of combination of interview and comprehensive written test while interview is weighted for more importance. The exam mostly aims to examine the applicant's general quality and potential development of managerial ability. For the purpose of time saving, the interview and written test held and finished in one day. Time for interview is about 20 minutes and written test is 2.5 hours. Base on the exam, those who are best qualified would be admitted by the EMBA recruitment committee of the college. The interview is divided into two parts. First part is self-statement on education background, working experience, experience of starting a business and achievement of management and so on. This major aims to examine the leadership ability and strategy courage of the applicant. The core of the investigation includes communication ability, logical capacity, etc.

12.How long is the duration? How does the curriculum arrange? (What kind of study method is adopted? )

The duration lasts 19 months. Students are required to finish the core subject, obligatory subject and relevant optional course stipulated in teaching plan. Total scores of all subjects should not below 32 points. Each course would be finished within four continuous days (normally from Thursday to Sunday)。
